Traditional winstub in Obernai in Alsace,
between Strasbourg and Colmar

- In Obernai, Le Caveau de Gail is an excellent example of a traditional Alsatian restaurant called a winstub. Inspired by the long history of winstubs in Alsace, À La Cour d'Alsace has a resolutely sophisticated feel. Gorgeous, cosy decor with a charming feel in which to enjoy the generously sized portions of traditional recipes, dating back to our grandmothers’ time.

The cuisine

This cosy, welcoming winstub serves classic dishes from the Alsace region, along with traditional and homemade dishes, all prepared with the utmost care.

The menu changes over the year to include specialities from Alsace using seasonal products.

Enjoy an authentic Alsatian dining experience.

What I love about A La Cour d’Alsace
2 restaurants: one traditional, one gourmet
Located in the town centre

I’ve worked here for over 20 years. Guests’ tastes have changed, so we adapt what we do every day. It can be a challenge but we always try to find a solution. It’s a genuine pleasure when a satisfied customer leaves the restaurant.
